An audible onslaught of grinding metal riffs, complimented by Melodic vocals. Wickedkick was formed in 1990 originally called Terra Firma , The brain child of bassist Iron Dave Bennett and original guitar player Julian Bennett(Julian Paul Band). Wickedkick first released indie album Wickedkick/Wickedkick which was to be released titled as Angel Of Mercy but after controversy over some pending art work that did'nt make the grade ,it was self named and history was made. Selling out home town venues and delivering the goods to local fans in style. Mindtwister was released in 1994 and was well received locally and in the U.S. Tracks were played on Q107 and 97.7, not frequently but on many indie show cases. It was played on college radio 88.3 in Kitchener and in Chicago IL more frequently. Thus Wickedkick headed to the states to play shows in the Chicago area and were welcomed with open arms after the Canucks delivered progressive metal mayham to hungry listeners. Unfortunately drummer Mic Montgomery decided to make some career changes that ended his contribution to the band. WIth no luck finding a suitable replacement the band folded in 1995. In 2008 Dave Bennett met James McCready and started writing new material together and Wickedkick was reborn more powerful and heavier then ever before. Finally adding James Beal on drums and Steve Goncalves on guitar and the lineup was complete.Thier new EP Kill To Live is ready for release June 23rd 2012 with the following full album right behind it,more to come soon......

I'm definitely up for that!I think the entire band would be up for that as well. We're looking to pick up this thing called the Yamaha Audiogram 6 to record some demo tracks with, speaking of recording. it's like $200 and hopefully we'll be able to capture everything we need in only a couple takes and put together a few demos.
